Description of the Evening

We are pleased to invite you to an exceptional four-course dinner with wine tasting, held in the private room of Ferreira, on Tuesday, May 21st at 6:00 PM. It will be hosted by Luisa Amorim, a prominent figure in the wine industry and entrepreneurship in Portugal.

For generations, the Amorim family has distinguished itself as one of the largest cork producers, with a deeply rooted heritage in Portuguese tradition. With around 8000 hectares of forest, they now hold a leading position worldwide. Beyond cork production, the cork oak forest plays a crucial role in environmental protection and offers numerous opportunities to address the challenges of climate change, especially in vineyards.

This dinner will be an opportunity to interact with Luisa as a distinguished businesswoman heading the prestigious wine estates of the Amorim family: Quinta Nova and Taboadella, both Relais & Châteaux, as well as Herdade Aldeia de Cima, with a more personal dimension. All three are pioneers in developing new sustainable approaches while promoting excellence in the art of living and Portuguese culture.
